Luca Guadignino directed “Challengers”. It is a muggy romantic comedy sports drama. Zendaya stars as Tashi, a tennis coach. 9. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (May 24)

After the death of Caesar in 2017’s “War for the Planet of the Apes,” the newest film in the 20th Century Studios franchise will be set many generations later. Apes are now the dominant species. A new tyrannical ape twitches to build an empire. A young ape is forced to wrestle with decisions. These choices will define the future for both monkeys and humans. The group of actors encompasses Owen Teague, Kevin Durand, Freya Allen, William H. Macy, and Peter Macon.

10. Hit Man (June 7)

The film is based on Skip Hollandsworth’s 2001 Texas Monthly article of the same name. In it, Glen Powell stars as a Houston police officer who goes undercover as an assassin to catch willing clients. But Hijinks ensures when he bargains himself getting invested in saving a woman in an abusive relationship, played by Adria Arjona. Austin Amelio, Retta besides Molly Bernard round out the cast.

11. Bad Boys 4 (June 7)

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will unite for the fourth movie in the action series.
